Visit of Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner, to Indonesia

On July 22, 2022, Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Budget and Administration, traveled to Jakarta, Indonesia. On this occasion, he met with Anggoro Eko Cahyo, President Director of the Indonesian Employment Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan), and representatives from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance to discuss investment opportunities, green and sustainable financing, as well as geopolitical challenges. This visit was part of Johannes Hahn’s trip to Southeast Asia, between July 18 and 23, 2022, to promote the EU’s NextGenerationEU borrowing program, drawing attention to investment opportunities.
