Visit of the European Commissioner, Elisa Ferreira, to Portugal

On July 14, 2022, Elisa Ferreira, European Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms, visited Fundão, Portugal to announce the approval of the Partnership Agreement for the Cohesion Policy funds and the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) for the 2021-2027 period. The announcement was attended by António Costa, Prime Minister of Portugal, and Mariana Vieira da Silva, Portuguese Minister of State for the Presidency. During her stay in Fundão, the Commissioner also visited Casa F, an EU-funded refugee center that welcomes Ukrainian refugees and provides housing, training, and support for their integration into the labor market.
