European Affairs Reporter, Founder and Head of Athens Digest.

The European Union is the only “soft” alliance of states that, without military means, has managed for decades to have enormous influence on almost every aspect of our daily lives. And while the success of the project in the past cannot guarantee the same success in the future, what is certain is that the benefits for all member states (economically stronger or weaker, in different parts of the map, with understandably different priorities) will be greater within an alliance than outside it.

EU days is therefore our attempt to bring a little closer to young journalists, students and every active citizen a daily reality to which we do not give the importance it deserves. A “daily reality” that day by day ultimately shaped the initial content of EU days. Obviously, you will not find in our pages the entire history of the EU in depth. But you will find many daily prompts that will challenge you to focus on the history of Europe if you wish.

For us, Europe is our daily life and -practically- our work itself. For you, we hope EU days will be a pleasant daily challenge.
